“When we listen and ask specific questions that help children reflect on their life with God, we help them to hear God.”

-Lacy Finn Borgo

Children’s lives are full of voices telling them to achieve, to behave, to become something great. Let’s help them hear the voice that calls them beloved.

What is Holy Listening?

In Holy Listening, children are invited to share their inner lives and to practice recognizing and responding to the voice of God. These 30-40 minute sessions occur virtually or in person in the western suburbs.

Unlike Sunday school, holy listening is not about teaching the child something about God, but rather helping facilitate a connection and conversation between the child and God.

Holy Listening is also not a substitute for therapy, and is not designed to “address” or “fix” things about your child.
